William (Bill) Rumpf of Trevose died peacefully on Dec 28 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 98. Bill was a proud WW II Navy veteran, having served in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific theaters. Inurnment will be at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1 PM on Thursday, January 19.

Born in Akron, OH, he moved to the Feasterville – Trevose area in 1958. Bill was a long-time member of the Feasterville Fire Company, and later, the Feasterville Fire Police. He was a member of the Neshaminy Senior Center and…

Bill was a proud WW II Navy veteran, having served in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific theaters. Inurnment will be at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1 PM on Thursday, January 19.

Born in Akron, OH, he moved to the Feasterville – Trevose area in 1958. Bill was a long-time member of the Feasterville Fire Company, and later, the Feasterville Fire Police. He was a member of the Neshaminy Senior Center and a driver for Meals-on-Wheels.

Bill was the beloved husband of Grace (nee Gallagher) for 50 years until her death in 1994. He was the devoted father of William J of Trevose, Rosemary of Philadelphia, and Christopher of Cinnaminson, NJ. He was the loving grandfather of Jeffrey Gluyas, Cynthia Lloyd, and Brian Gluyas, and the great grandfather of Matthew, Tyler, Austin, and Tristan Gluyas.
